What is TKCS-05-35/10?

TKCS-05-35/10 is a wireless system for calling a waiter, allowing the customer to call a waiter to the table using a console on the table. After pressing a button or buttons on the console results in the transmitter in the console transmitting a signal to the wrist watch receiver. The signal sent by the console extends up to approximately 100 metres in an open, unobstructed area. Tables have to be numbered and every table has a unique console linked with the number of the table. When a button is pressed on the console, the number of the respective table lights up on the display of the wrist watch receiver. The number remains active on the screen of the wrist watch receiver until a waiter pushes the “cancel” button on the console. Every console is equipped with three buttons that contain three different requests. Functions of the buttons: 1) Bill $, 2) Call, 3) Cancel. A member of the customer service staff can see three requests from a customer based on the text $ (Bill $) and/or Image of a waiter/waitress (Call) on the screen of the wrist watch receiver. If a customer has pressed several buttons on the console, the table number on the screen of the wrist watch receiver will flash in the colour black. Once at the table, the waiter then takes down the customer’s request and then pushes the “cancel” button – doing so cancels the customer’s call. The consoles are, under normal circumstances, resistant to moisture and water (e.g. they are rainproof). It is possible to insert 99 consoles into the memory of the wrist watch receiver. The wrist watch receiver enables to display only three last calls on the screen of the wrist watch receiver (up to 10 calls will remain into the memory which can be viewed later using the button Next on the wrist watch receiver). Functions of the buttons: 1) Function (to enter the menu of the wrist watch receiver), 2) Next (to operate in the menu), 3) to operate in the subfolders in the menu), 4) Cancel (confirmation).

What is the effect of TKCS-05-35/10?                                                                  

The system for calling a waiter to the table from the table has a positive effect on the customer, waiter and also the company and its owner. From the perspective of the customer, the system speeds up the service process, makes it smoother, and increases the customer's privacy. From the perspective of the waiter, the system permits the optimisation of the waiter's movements and the time for accepting orders, and reduces the number of cutting remarks from customers concerning the speed of service.  Where can one use the TKCS-05-35/10 system?

The system is well suited for entertainment and catering establishments with up to 35 tables and where customers are mostly served at the table. The effect of the system is especially significant if the service area is divided into smaller subareas, it consists of many rooms, has many floors, if in summer time the area is expanded by placing tables outside or on a balcony, or if the number of service personnel is limited. The system is not suited for venues where service is provided exclusively at the bar/counter, or if it is possible to constantly monitor all of the tables from the bar.
